What is Movie Hi-Lo?
Movie Hi-Lo is a free, browser-based guessing game. Two movies appear side by side — your job is to guess which one has the higher (or lower) IMDb rating. Get it right and the winner stays for the next round. See how long you can keep your streak alive.
The game features a catalog of 2,000 movies spanning every major genre, three gameplay modes (Classic, Underdog, and Chaos), and genre filters to customize your experience. No account or download required — just open your browser and play.
How It Works
- Pick a mode: Classic (guess higher), Underdog (guess lower), or Chaos (the objective switches every round).
- Two movies appear with their posters, titles, and genres — but ratings are hidden.
- Click or tap your pick (or press 1 / 2 on your keyboard).
- If you're right, the winner carries forward and a new challenger appears.
- Your best streak is saved locally in your browser.
